Cable Inspections Loch Eil, Loch Aline, Scalpay Narrows and Ornsay-Skye, to 4 May 2026

SHEPD will be undertaking subsea cable inspections at Loch Eil (Annat Narrows), Loch Aline Narrows, Scalpay Narrows and Skye-Ornsay up to 4th May 2026

Vessels conducting the works will be restricted in their ability to manoeuvre and will display the appropriate lights and shapes. Other vessels are requested to pass at a safe speed and provide a minimum clearance of 500m (COLREGs Rule 16 & 18) during marine operations. The vessel will monitor VHF Channel 16 throughout survey operations.
