Cable Route Survey by unmanned vessels, Islay-Kintyre, July 2025

XOCEAN is planning to collect of geophysical data using remotely piloted Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs) along a proposed cable route corridor from Isle of Islay to West Kintyre. The USVs are expected to operate out of Lagavulin bay. A crewed Support Vessel will be chartered throughout the survey to support the USVs.

Dates/Duration: Operations are expected to commence around 1st July 2025. It is expected that the survey activities shall be completed within 3-4 weeks (subject to weather).

Seafarers are kindly ask to provide a clearance of >500m from the USVs at all times when they are in operation.
