Fish Cage Move, Sound of Ulva, Mull 20 - 24 April 2026

Bakkafrost Scotland (BFS) will be carrying out a series of cage grid tows in Loch Tuath and Loch Na Keal, Isle of Mull. The tows will take place between 20th April 2026 and the 24th April 2026; the towing vessel will have limited manouverability during this time. The cage grid will be towed in sections from Loch Tuath to Loch Na Keal.

The towing vessel will display the shapes and lights prescribed in the International Rules for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea (COLREGS) Rule 27 and will be displaying the prescribed shapes and lights when the vessel is restricted in its ability to manoeuvre. When operations commence a listening watch will be maintained on VHF Channel 12 and 16.
